Peer + teacher assessment

To carry out my peer assessment I asked my classmates to fill in one thing thy thought was good about my magazine front cover and one thing hey thought i could improve on. In return i also made comments on theirs to help them improve and also to get some further ideas for my own.

By doing this I found out what i could co to improve the cover. For instance after reviewing he comments I received I will now consider using different fonts as I believe this would be an effective change on the front cover making it more attractive and appealing for the target audience. It also helped my as when I looked at the covers other students had made and making comments on them I found what I liked and got some inspiration on how I could improve my own work.

This is the assessment my lecturers filled in for me in order to improve my front cover. This assessment was carried out by printing off my from cover and giving it to my lecturer to mark and give me some advice on how to improve.

As a result of doing this assessment I have been able to see how i can progress with this cover from a professionals point of view. I also found that both my lecturers and classmates noticed quite a few aspects of my magazine which i can improve in common such as the font variation and the headline lacking boldness which wouldn't attract the audience.
